BIO: I am married to a wonderful woman, have a beautiful daughter and three amazing grandchildren. I served the Dallas Police Department for 27 years- retiring in January 2024 as a Deputy Chief. I have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about 13 years and earned my black belt in November 2021, under Octavio Couto and Rafael Lang. Due to my unique background of law enforcement and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu I have put on several women's self defense classes as a way to give back to the community.

BIO: I have a beautiful wife and two amazing boys, both who train at the BWJJ kids class with me. I have a background in youth ministry and currently work for myself creating websites, photos, and videos.

I studied karate as a kid, boxing as an adult, and started my BJJ journey in 2017.
